Con sorpresas, un buen inicio, un video In Memoriam, un homenaje a John Hughes y otro con lo mejor de las películas de Terror pero después llega al cansancio ver que se entregan premio tras premio y sin que en entreactos vea un musical al menos de las canciones que estaba nominadas, que para descartar su presentación en el primer bloque ya mencionan la ganadora a ese rubro. Así fue la ceremonia del Oscar este año, que, practicamente, sin espectáculos, sin un premio horonífico, haciendola larga para entregar el galardón a Mejor Actor y 
Actriz, y lo apurado que fue la entrega a las principales categorías (Director y Película -en esta última sin mencionar siquiera las nominadas) y a pesar del esfuerzo de Steve Martin y Alec Maldwin, y Ben Stiller anunciando el ganador a Maquillaje Con un look Avatar, resultó ser tan aburrida como hace dos años. Y eso que la del año pasado parecía ser el renacimiento de las ceremonias espectaculares.
Aplausos para todos los ganadores, en lo que respecta a actuaciones, ni hablar, todas estaban cantadas: Sandra Bullock (Mejor Actriz por 'The Blind Side'), Jeff Bridges (Mejor Actor por 'Crazy Heart'), Christoph Waltz (Mejor Actor de Reparto por 'Inlourious Basterds') y Mo'Nique (Mejor Actriz de Reparto por 'Precious'), tampoco me extrañó los de los guiones (Adapatado para Precious y Original para 'The Hurt Locker'), y de los premios técnicos no tengo mucha espectativa, todo lo contrario fue el de a Mejor Director y Película, particularmente 'Avatar' será muy buena pero no queria que ganara, aunque aún no haya visto 'The Hurt Locker' me gustó que la directora Kathryn Bigelow se llevará la estuatilla dorada por partida doble, pues la academia quiso que resulatara ser la gran triunfadora de la noche.
A Mejor Película Extranjera se sabe que la argentina 'El secreto de sus ojos' de Juan José Campanella derrumbó las celebraciones ya preparadas para recibir el Oscar en manos de Claudio Llosa y Magaly Solier, nuestras grandes y respetables cinéfilas. Yo ansiaba que 'Coraline' ganara a Mejor Película Animada, pero 'Up' se le adelantó, los de Píxar no dejan una estuatilla desde hace años.
